One admin manages the family and its billing.
Your parent’s wishes come before the family’s preferences.
Always check medicine details before you save them.
Plans renew monthly, and you can cancel any time.
About this agreement
This User Agreement applies when you create or join a Parentaline account. It is between you and [Legal entity name], and it adds to our Terms & Conditions. Where the two conflict on account matters, this agreement applies.
Accounts and roles
You are responsible for keeping your phone and sign-in codes secure. The admin is responsible for the people they invite into the family.
Setting up for a parent
When you add a senior, you confirm that they know about Parentaline, have agreed to receive calls, and that the phone number you entered is theirs.
The senior’s wishes prevail. A senior can pause calls, decline recording or leave the family at any time, and the family cannot override that. If a senior tells us they did not agree to the service, we will stop calling them.
Caregiver responsibilities
- Parentaline supports your care; it does not replace your judgement or a doctor’s.
- Medicine schedules you enter should match the prescriber’s instructions. We do not verify prescriptions.
- Medicines read from a scanned prescription must be reviewed and confirmed by you before they are saved.
- Keep emergency contacts and phone numbers up to date, and respond to alerts you receive.
Calls and recordings
Check-in calls follow the schedule set in Parent settings. If a call is missed, we may retry at the interval you choose. No calls or reminders are placed during quiet hours; only an SOS alert comes through.
Calls are recorded only when the senior has agreed, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Alerts and escalation
A missed dose is re-reminded, then followed by a call, then raised to the family. Each alert shows the steps taken and when. You can adjust escalation timing in settings. Delivery depends on networks and devices and cannot be guaranteed; Parentaline is not an emergency service.
Plans, trials and billing
- Plans are Free, Care, Care+ and NRI Global. Current prices are shown in the app and include GST where it applies.
- Paid plans renew automatically each month until you cancel.
- A free trial becomes a paid plan unless you cancel before it ends. We will remind you before the trial ends.
- Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds follow [refund policy] and applicable law.
- We give at least 30 days’ notice of any price change.
Sharing within the family
Members see information according to their role. Removing a member ends their access from that moment on. A senior’s health data belongs to the senior: if they leave the family, their data is removed from the family’s view.
Messages we send
We contact you by call, SMS, push notification and email to run the service. You can turn off optional messages. While your account is active you cannot turn off safety-critical messages — SOS, missed-dose escalations and security alerts.
Leaving and deleting
You can delete your account under Profile → Delete account. If the admin deletes the family, every member loses access and the family’s data is erased according to the retention periods in the Privacy Policy. Before deleting, you can export records from the app.
Changes and contact
We will notify you in the app before material changes to this agreement take effect. For help with your account, write to help@parentaline.com or call 1800 200 4040.
